About WCCS19

After the success of the previous editions (ICCS12WCCS14 and WCCS15), we are very glad to announce the WCCS19, “4th Edition of World conference on Complex Systems “. The WCCS19 will be organized by Ibn Zohr University; Moroccan Society of Complex Systems and National College of IT (ENSIAS, Mohamed V Souissi University) in partnership with IEEE Moroccan section and International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Science during April 22-25, 2019 in Ouarzazate-Morocco.

The recent technological progress leads to an increased complexity in many Natural and Artificial Systems. This increase in complexity is a result of the emergence of new properties and spatio temporal interactions among a large number of system elements and between the system and its environment. The WCCS19 will provide a high-level international forum for researchers and Ph. D. students who will present recent research results, address new challenges and discuss trends in the area of complex systems and interdisciplinary science. The aims of the conference are focused on the debate about the most relevant methodologies and approaches to understanding, modelling, simulating, predicting, evaluating and mastering the Societal, Ecological, Biological and Engineered Complex Systems.

Conference Proceedings and Special Issues

All presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and  included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Distinguished papers from WCCS19 will be invited to submit a revised and extended version to indexed International Journals:

Systems Research and Behavioral Science – Volume 36, Issue 6 (2019)    (Impact factor 0.86 Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports).

Charles François 2019 Prize

  • The author of the best paper will be awarded the jury’s prize, i.e. a copy of the International Encyclopaedia of Systems and Cybernetics, donated with a dedication and autograph from Charles François.
  • Only after the publication of the final version of their work, in the support elected by the organisers, all the laureates will be granted a certificate emitted by the Academy, testifying the excellent quality of their work.

Organize a Special Session

Researchers are welcome to organize special session. The session should be within a very specific topic. Please send your session title, your CV for this purpose to  (ta.ouahed@gmail.com)

The conference will list the session on the web. The session chair will manage the publicity of his/her session. It is expected that each session will attract 5 registered papers. The session chair will get a free registration for one of his/her papers.

The submission and the reviewing process for the papers of the sessions will be managed jointly between the chair and the conference. The chair can take the responsibility of the reviewing with the help of other researchers. However, the conference will get all the reviewing reports at the end.
